LuAn is a member of the Conference Board of Canada and co-founder and Co-Chair of the University of Saskatchewan's Institute of Agricultural, Rural and Environmental Health. She also serves on the Women's Leadership Board of Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government. The Leadership Board is designed to advance women globally, focusing on leadership, advocacy and public policy.

LuAn is also:  

• Founder, President and CEO of Save the Planet Holdings Ltd.;

• a member of Women's Leadership Board, John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University;

• Co-chair, Institute of Agricultural, Rural and Environmental Health, University of Saskatchewan;

• a member of the Canadian Council of Chief Executives;

• a member of the Canadian Board of Governors;

• member of the Women's Empowerment Team of California; and

• involved in a variety of community organizations including YWCA, United Way, and Junior Achievement.
